| An interesting cross between large powered aircraft and gliders is
commonly referred as scale aerotow. Several of the CSS members enjoy
this unique area of R/C soaring. The coordination between the tow
and sailplane pilot is very realistic and challenging. Most tows
release at an altitude of 1000' above ground level, with some going above
1500'. Below are several photographs of CSS Members at the GCRCC
flying field.
